Attendance

Regular and punctual attendance is crucial if your child is to make the most of the educational opportunities available to him/her. School is important and that is the message that should be conveyed to your child - once understood it will stay with him/her for life. If your child is unable to attend school we ask that you contact us as soon as possible. Should a pupil fail to arrive in school and no message has been received Mrs Clark (our secretary) will contact you and ask the reason for his/her non-attendance.

New government regulations came into force in September 2013 and do not allow schools to routinely authorise any leave of absence in term time, unless there are very exceptional circumstances. This means that we will no longer be authorising holidays during term time. The updated attendance policy can be found on the School Policies page.
