Food and Drink
Our school lunches are expertly prepared by the school cook each day in our on-site kitchen. Everything is made from scratch using, where possible, fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Lunches are priced at £2.15 per day and we do ask that you pay for these in advance. Pupils in EYFS and Key Stage 1 (YR, Y1 and Y2)are entitled to free meals, as are all children of parents on some benefits. If you think your child may be eligible, please speak in confidence to the school office. Please click here to see the menu.
Pupils may, if they prefer, bring a packed lunch to school but we ask that these do not include glass bottles, fizzy drinks or sweets. We are also happy for children to alternate between school dinners and packed lunches. Menus are sent home regularly to help your child decide.
Pupils in Key Stage 2 (Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6) may buy toast at playtimes if they wish, which costs 10p per day. Pupils in Key Stage 1 are given a piece of fresh fruit or vegetable each day which is provided by the government’s Fruit and Vegetable Scheme.
Children receive a carton of milk each day until they reach the age of 5. After that you may, if you wish, pay for milk. Please contact www.schoolmilkservices.co.uk if you would like your child to continue to receive milk after reaching the age of 5.
